Happy 4th of July to everyone. We have been experiencing a bit of heat here in the Chicago area and I have decided to open the 2013 Talbott Logan Sleepy Hollow Vineyard Chardonnay from the Santa Lucia Highlands of California.
On the nose I am able to tell there is pineapple, lemon, pear, honeysuckle, almond and a good amount of minerality.
The palate has lemon, apple, white peach, pear, minerality and wet flint rock.
This wine is dry, medium bodied whit a creamy mouthfeel and medium + acidity that leads into a mineral driven medium to long finish. Please be safe tonight while enjoying your holiday festivities. Nostrovia! 🥂🥂🥂🥂 — 11 days ago

Fav Cali Pinot. Assertive intro with just enough oak and an elegant cherry finish. Could drink this one forever. — 5 months ago

2017. Great flavor, especially for the price ($12). — 21 days ago
The best pinot I've ever had. Medium acid. Good tannins. Can stand up to food. Doesn't taste cheap. Taste like cherry pie. — 3 months ago
Talbott’s entry-level Pinot Noir, balanced, delicious. Some smokiness caused by the summer 2016 wildfires in the area — 5 months ago
Nice with great oak tones — 7 months ago
