Au Bon Climat

Santa Barbara County Chardonnay 2022

9.3

Drank over a few days. Very light gold color, which is surprising after smelling and tasting it. Very rich nose of sweet apples/pears, lychee, and subtle perfume. Smells like a scratch and sniff book :). Similar on the palate but more refined. Medium depth and finish. Pretty darn good for $30. Probably gets better with age, but ready to go now. — 2 days ago

Domaine de la Tour du Bon

Bandol Grenache Blend Rosé 2023

Some white peach, almond, subtle plum skin. If you don’t see the color, it drinks surprisingly close to a southern Italian white like Greco di tufo — 22 days ago

ABC always a solid buy

Château Le Bon Pasteur

Pomerol Red Bordeaux Blend 2019

Dark, glass-clinging reddish purple with near opaque core. Lush, inviting nose of baked plum and dark berry cobbler. Equally lush, full palate echoes the nose adding juicy red plum, blackberry, and fruit ash. Velvety medium tannins entry to finish. Medium acidity. Lengthy, dark finish. Can't really go wrong with Pomerol, and this wine is further evidence of that. A good solid vintage from the house that put Michel Rolland on the map. Drink now through 2029. — 4 months ago

Steely, buttery and has taken on a bit of an oceanic quality, A bit transitional, moving from secondary to tertiary qualities, but still good. — 3 months ago
