Stellina Di Notte

Donnafugata

Mille e Una Notte Sicilia

Nicholas picked this up in Sicily while he was there at the NEX. Probably paid about $50 for the bottle there. Would run about $90 in the United States. Excellent red wine from Sicily! — 3 days ago

Donnafugata

Mille e Una Notte Nero d'Avola 2020

Disappointing
Specially in relation to the price
This is the first important label from donnafugata, first release dates back to the 80s i reckon
It falls short, it isn't bad,but i reckon this would be in a wine shop 180/200 dollars
It must be better

Tancredi Sicilia Rosso Cabernet Sauvignon Blend 2017

Out of mgm, bold wine. I like this blend of cab sauv, nero d’avola and tannat. Nicely balanced. I think I like this one more than their Mille e Una Notte, for sure in terms of qpr — 2 years ago

Riserva Primitivo di Manduria 2022

RIP to the last €6 wine from Italy. Opaque Ruby red. Smells so fruity-strawberry, raspberry, and vanilla with ethanol. Full bodied, tannic but finishes very juicy. Leather, blackberry, black cherry. Would love to have again, probs never will. — 2 months ago

Mille e Una Notte Contessa Entellina Nero d'Avola

9.2

Deep ruby coloration. No translucency. On the nose, minerality, sweet tobacco, anise, and blackberry. On the palate, strong minerality, jammy dark berry and anise, full bodied, long finish. Tannins are still strong but balanced. — 4 months ago

Notte Rossa

Lambrusco

This wine colors up a medium garnet in the glass. The nose is rather muted, but offers a blackberry aroma draped in an earthy note. It's a slightly fizzy wine with a palate that shows dark blue fruit and a hint of coffee. It is not a particularly complex sip, but it is rather pleasant. The label has a meter pointing to “sweet,” but it does not come off that way to me. I would call it off-dry, if anyone were to ask me. — a year ago
