***Super sweet, beautiful color. Local PA wine score! This is a lovely rose` wine which I located at Wegmans (grocery store) in Williamsport, PA in May of 2018. I have never seen this wine at any PA Wine & Spirits locations, so I was glad that I took a chance on this wine when I saw it! — 7 years ago
I have long been a fan of St. George for a long time, and this confirms my high opinion of them. Nose of rye spice with vanilla and bananas foster, and on the taste, honey-sweetened tea with clove and pepper, masala tea spices, oak, and bitter chocolate. Orange emerges immediately on the finish with subsequent honey. — 4 years ago

Lots of Barbera acid, stewed sour cherry, dried violets, brambly, cedar, black pepper and touch of baking spice. Some Nebbiolo-like tar? From Amaro Spirits and Wine. 10/30/20 — 4 years ago
Funk on the nose, ripe red fruit, cranberry, and a lot of acid, graphite, gamey. From Amaro Spirits and Wine. 10/29/20 — 4 years ago
Here’s a link to the back story on this once popular Provençal/alps aperitif now interesting to me because of the White Negroni cocktail and the fabulous label. https://spiritsreview.com/reviews/kina-lavion-d-or/ — 6 years ago

Garnet in color. Nose of black fruits, plums, leather, chocolate. Violets? Same on the palette, add anise and orange peel. Dark chocolate, bitter coffee and tar finish that I’m not sure if I like. Colonial Spirits. — 3 years ago
