I think it was still a bit too early to drink this vintage, but shows a lot of potential. — 7 years ago

If Chambolle Musigny were in California this would be it. And a Premier Cru one at that. Beautiful stuff here. — 10 years ago

Excellent Pinot, deep cherry, slightest bit of acidity; J detects a bit of sparkle despite the age, tho I don’t — 3 years ago

Definitely closed at first but opened beautifully with dinner (salmon). Started off very angular with hard edges but opened to a rich, dark and balanced wine. — 10 years ago
Soliste is one of my favorite winemakers, and although this wine was pleasant, it did not represent the best of their offering. Nonetheless, this is a winemaker I will return to time and again. — 10 years ago

Quite light golden yellow colour . Quite deep yellow fruits , touches of pastry , roasted nuts . Very complex needs a bit of time to open. On the palate pretty big , yellow fruits again , with that pastry element . Long and elegant acidity, with mineral , saline finish . Now and for the next 5- 7 years . — 4 years ago
This was one of the best pinot noirs I have ever tasted so smooth it was unreal! — 6 years ago
The Anti-Pinot. Candied cherries, heavy dill spice, and lush bodied. @Steve Anderson stumps the crew! — 9 years ago

I can't see myself liking and enjoying a Chardonnay any more than this one. Butter. Recommended by Bryan Smith, wine director at Woodward Table. — 12 years ago

Good but not excellent Pinot Noir. Nice cherry flavors with some underlying off flavors. Excellent $35 value. — 3 years ago
