An incredible primitivo for it's value. Shockingly well-balanced with a long pleasurable finish. Fresh raspberry jam and vanilla with a touch of tobacco and oak. Probably one of the best value wines I've had. Enjoyed with suppli, stuffed zucchini flowers, and tonarelli alla carbonara. So good that we had to drink two bottles. — 21 days ago
Not your traditional rose. Strawberry on the nose and front of palate leading to apples. Some notes of minerality in it as well. Stands up as a good complement to Asian and Indian food. — 2 days ago
Great wine. Full yet dry and mineral. Leather nose. — 8 days ago
Duoro red blend from old vines. Takes about 45 mins to fully open up. Dark as night with a complex nose. On the pallet it feels rich and complex with an unpredictable finesse and long finish reminiscent of dried plum, vanilla, and a certain earthyness.
Absolutely the best wine I’ve ever tasted from Portugal. I’d say drink up, this is extremely enjoyable at the moment. — 7 days ago
What a joy! Rich ruby color leads to an expressive bouquet of cocoa, earthy wisps of violet and just a smidge of cinnamon. Then the body comes along and this is the strong-point of this young Zinfandel- balanced, integrated & juicy- reflecting all the promises of the nose and delivering a truly, surprisingly balanced, mouth-coating finish that is profoundly refined considering its age. — 10 days ago
# 3 on Whiskey Advocate,
*#3 on Whiskey Advocate's Top 20 Whiskies of 2019.* For the first time in 8 years Four Roses has added a new bourbon to their core lineup. The Small Batch Select is a 104 proof bottling that is made from the following recipes: OBSV, OBSK, OBSF, OESV, OESK, OESF. It's a blend of 6 and 7 year old bourbons and is a worthy addition. It's loaded with spiciness and a bit of sweet fruit on the nose and morphs into vanilla, cigar box, and stone fruits on the palate. It finishes long and clean with a touch of fresh mint lifting it and begging you to sip again. — 2 days ago
