Peppery, cherry, cranberries. Rosemary pairs well. Duck, figs, pork chops. — 2 months ago
A little green in flavor (as in unripe), too acidic, but had some elements of tropical fruit, just not full and ripe. Has potential but not the best. — 4 months ago
Unbelievable petite still delivers huge burst of fruit albeit a bit more restrained than bottles consumed last year. Beautiful bouquet of berries and earth promise great depth of flavor. The wine is brilliantly balanced and perfectly complemented pork tenderloin at Midway Mercantile. Enjoyed the dinner and wine immensely! — 18 days ago
My last bottle…
A few years back I bought 3 bottles. Now can’t find another 2017 on the inter-webs.
Soft mouth feel with a kick not from tannins, per se, but from a strong peppery finish. Just loved.
36% Grenache, 36% Syrah, 31 mourverdre…
After 2017 they jacked up the Grenache and it hasn’t been the same. Not sure the vineyard is even still around.
Was fun while it lasted…. — 3 months ago

Fireplace, wine and dark chocolate, tasting like dark fruit, black cherry with a bit oak. (Year 2018) — a month ago
Out of magnum. Beautiful Chardonnay. Fermented butter, macadamias, bruised apricot, lemonade — 8 months ago
77 acres of very old vaso trained Monatrell vines & 29 acres of 30 year old Cab Sauvignon. A blend of 70% Cab Sauvignon & 30% Monastrell aged 2 years. Dark Ruby with dark berry flavors & complex spice. Rich ripe blueberry & blackberry flavors with vanilla spice, tobacco, balanced acidity. Tannins are approachable but the wine is still very young, long finish ending with integrated oak notes. Still needs time, don’t be tempted but if you wait this will be great!
