Sea Smoke

Ten Santa Barbara County Pinot Noir 2011

The anticipation and patience displayed holding this for 10 years was amply rewarded. Clear, brick-ish color, tight nose that eventually opened to loads of red fruit, Burgundy like in its combination of lushness and reserve. Subtle and layered even after all these years. — 10 days ago

Sea Smoke

Ten California Grand Cru Pinot Noir 2012

I’d say these wines are overrated. Second of the 2012’s I picked up. Dark fruit, supple but not that interesting. — 3 months ago

Ten Biodynamic Estate Vineyard Monopole Pinot Noir 2020

Beautiful nose - cherry, raspberry, star anise. Like the salinity. Alcohol builds tho — 9 months ago

Bodega Catena Zapata

Ten Centuries of Life, Death and Rebirth Malbec Argentino 2019

Smooth. Black berries and well-rounded tannins. A really nice wine and lovely to drink, not sure I see the more exuberant reviews, but it might still evolve in the coming years. Definitely don’t regret purchasing this — 10 months ago

Ten Estate Vineyard Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir

A lovely wine. Raspberries, black cherries, and plums. I slightly prefer the 2016, but this is still an excellent wine. — 4 days ago

Ten Acre

Jenkins Vineyard Pinot Noir 2013

9.4

Dark ruby coloration. Some translucency- classic Pinot appearance. On the nose, cherry, dark berry, plum, forest floor, earth, and minerals. On the palate, cherry, plum, dark berry, cola, fruit forward. Jammy. Nice medium to full body with velvety mouthfeel. Nicely balanced tannins and longish finish. — 7 months ago

Ten Minutes by Tractor

Judd Vineyard Pinot Noir 2015

I had the previous bottle 37 weeks ago and this was, once again, outstanding. Sous Bois is still there along with red fruited (cherry), red florals (roses) and confectionery. Evidence of whole bunch in the ferment. My daughter, Georgie adored it and said it was one of the best if not THE Best wine she has had in her Australian visit for the past 5 weeks. She has now returned to Copenhagen. Only 1705 bottles made. On Saturday my wife and I are having lunch at Ten Minutes by Tractor and need to restock their excellent wines. — 4 months ago
