On the nose; macerated lemon & golden apple, just a whiff of apple cider, overripe pineapple, lemon custard, the citrus flesh in marmalade, lime pith with some flesh, sea spray, chalkiness, yeast, yellow lilies, citrus blooms and white spring flowers.
The body is full & rich. Acidity is sharpe & crisp. Macerated lemon & golden apple, just a whiff of apple cider, a little bit of sour green apple, overripe pineapple, lemon custard, the citrus flesh in marmalade, lime pith with some flesh, sea shells, chalkiness, round grey volcanic minerals, yeasty, doughy, bread, yellow lilies, citrus blooms and white spring flowers. The long finish is rich and is excellently executed.

Tasty wine. Dark golden color, great minerality with well integrated and not sharpe acidity. Round lemon was the most pronounced fruit flavor. — 6 years ago

More reductive than oxidative. Green apple, bruised pear, quince, overripe pineapple, grapefruit, grapefruit pit, yellow lilies, refined soft chalkiness that just about perfect, gritty volcanic minerals, crisp, sharpe acidity and full rich finish that lasts a full minute.

A nice wine to start with! I’ve never had a Vino Verde Rosé though I love a Vino Verde in the summer poolside. This wine has a salmon color, the acidity is right on and I’m loving it with some Rosé infused cheese, sharpe white cheddar and crackers. — 3 years ago
