Very Smooth. Extremely well balanced. Light without feeling like a white. Paired with a veal and sage sauce for Peter and scallops and cherry tomatoes for me. Perfectly middle of the road towards very good. — 2 years ago
Dark ruby color. Nose is floral, rose, red fruit and some strong cedar. High acid, astringent and tannic upon opening. Better after 2 hours of air. Pepper, tart dark fruit. This will improve with age. — 25 days ago
Don’t know what’s in the blend but this vino, even 2021 vintage, is Super Tuscan to me…very flavorful balanced, good nose, not too much tannic, just right…deep berry, more like a Napa red or Paso Robles red. Drink again! — 8 months ago

Sipping Fine Wine
In the heart of the Chianti lies Estate of Sette Ponti, 15 miles northwest of the city of Arezzo, past village of San Giustino Valdarno. Has 10% Merlot, aged in French Allier barriques, deep Ruby with red fruit aromas and floral notes. On the palate blackberry, plum and cherry flavors with blossom notes, spice and fine integrated tannins. Good balance, long finish ending with some oak and mineral tones. Nice! Will age a bit! Tasting well now! — 2 days ago
