A blend of Treixadura, Giselle & Loureiro. Expressive on the nose with yellow stone fruit, moist rocks & moss and a saline whiff. Surprisingly rich on the palate yet beautifully balanced by the juicy acidity and asking, mineral bite.
This has surprising depth & precision. An absolutely beautiful match with fish (pot roasted red gurnard)!! — 4 years ago

The nose was a fruit bomb when we first opened it. It is a little hot with alcohol. The palate is lovely. It is fantastic with prime rib. — 4 years ago
Vintage 2021 | Cuvée Les Survivantes | 50 Semillon 25 Sauvignon Blanc 25 Sauvignon Gris | vines between 50 and 70 years old | 6 months barrel aging | notes of melon, pear, Turkish delight, good concentration | paired with figs from my own garden and Serrano ham — a year ago
A discovery! Tastes this 2014 in 2023, a good way to find out if the wine has the real thing. And it did. A metallic hint, blood like, red fruit driven, sour cherries, rose petals, a Burgundian soul, unbelievable acidity, clean, the animal you get is not Brett. Loved it — a year ago
Difficile à battre pour le prix. Un tout petit 13$ — 4 years ago
A mid-tier Muga slot. Deep purple in color, sage, blackberry, new leather, mild vanilla. Medium + body, alc and tannins, medium acidity. Dry of course. Long finish. Tertiary flavors are not yet pronounced. Would be fabulous with ribeye, but tonight it's paired with cheeses and Serrano ham.

Lovely wine , excellent with cheese and serrano ham. — 4 years ago
Sour cherry, graphite, tobacco, slight vanilla at the end. Delicious and pairs well with cured meat like chorizo and Serrano ham. Med-low on the tannins. — 4 years ago

This has really changed or at least this bottle. The acidity has perked up significantly. Very tight on opening, needing about 30-60 minutes of air. Lemon zest, oyster shell and minerals. Beautifully composed, pairing so well with a diverse array of food (tonight was fusilli with clams, Serrano, pecorino, garlic and roasted cherry tomatoes). It’s amazing how this wine went from low acidity and almost flabby to tight with punchy acidity. I have one bottle left that I will likely drink this coming year. — a year ago
