Drank this 2012 in early 2023 and I think it is still young! Could go another decade. Delicious nonetheless. Immediate scents of green bell pepper and herbaceous goods that morphs into blue and black fruits. Vanilla is present but definitely secondary. Upon drinking there is a solid structure with a focused power of restrained medium acidity. Spices and some grease come to the forefront. Great lasting finish. Found a ‘10, Ruby with aromas of ripe dark fruits and perfumed spices. On the palate flavors of black cherry and plum with licorice, leather, spice and herb notes. Soft tannins, hints of oak on medium+ finish ending with fruit, herb and earthy mineral tones. Nice, still tasting well but starting to get tired! Drink now! — a month ago

Blend of 66% Grenache, 15% Syrah, 10% Mourvèdre, and the rest a mix of permitted varieties, Medium Ruby with aromas of ripe black fruits and earthy pepper spice. On the palate complex rich flavors of cherry and blackberry, with oak, leather, cacao and earthy spice. Full body, well balanced, fine tannins, long finish, perfect now but will last another decade. Likely not an ideal bottle with what I felt was excessive volatile acidity. Nevertheless, the red fruits and spices were still clear, and the velvety texture was quite delightful. Finished with bright acidity and an acetic-mineral mix. Probably a showstopper if pristine. — 4 days ago

Ruby/purple color. (Dark for a Pinot Noir) Beautiful dark berry aromas with hints of spices, salami and roasted herbs. Bold on the pallet with bright blackberry and black cherry fruit with notes of baking spices and earth. Great length and balance. Powerful!
