Such a great expression of this vineyard. Tar, smoke, cassis, blackberries and roasted plum aromatics. I’ve always gotten a streak of mineral/graphite down the middle of the palate from LPV and this was no different. Gorgeous texture. This is very powerful, even at 9yrs, and needed every bit of the decanting it received...and probably an additional 1-2hrs extra. Just wonderful. Thanks for opening @joe leatherwood

A super wine and a close second behind another 2010 from Napa (Bryant's DB4) in a wonderful flight that is pure Cab pleasure. More red fruit driven with greater salinity than the DB4, the common thread was a great energy in the glass. Delicious.

This was a gift and I am thankful. Incredibly structured, tons of black and blue fruits. Delicious notes of licorice, anise, and tobacco in the aroma.

A youthful beauty. Mineral-driven, aromatic with lavender and blackberry/currant. Velvety palate, big but finely grained tannins.
