Natural Cask Strength Single Malt Scotch Whisky 2002

Wow. Incredible scotch, and definitely the smoothest cask strength scotch I’ve had. Rich caramel character on the nose, it has a rich palate with hints of smoke and molasses and and amazingly lingering finish. Really terrific. — 8 days ago

Little Bay of Caves Single Malt Scotch Whisky

If candied orange slices could be slow cooked in a smoke pit, along with spices, then filtered through a high alcohol sieve, then maybe just maybe you’d have something close to the Oban transcendental experience. Sublime, one dangerous small sip at a time — 19 days ago

More medicinal than peaty. Still, I wouldn’t kick it out of bed. — 3 days ago

Signet Single Malt Scotch Whiskey

Said to be an element of oldest and rarest stock (35 to 40 yrs) stock of the distillery - chocolate raisins orange nose, butter pudding Carmel, lime, cashew, spice favor with dried floral finished. So rich like having a toffee, so delicious! — 19 days ago

Kilkerran Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Something we brought back from St Andrews, this is much better than the 8.5s I’m seeing on Delectable. Great synergy of sweetness and smoke, this is impressive for a 12-year-old scotch. Well done! — 18 days ago

Bottled 2018 Glentauchers Aged 8 Years Sherry Puncheon Cask Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky 2010

Utterly fantastic. Got turned on to this from a guy at a scotch place on the Royal Mile in Edinburgh. Wasn’t at all familiar with “single cask” bottlings...but clearly with the right person making the selection, the result can be off the charts. Easily among the top 10 scotches I’ve ever had, this is brilliant. Great nose that provides layers of sweet malt, some molasses, and a hint of peat, this has a beautiful mouthfeel with an expansive palate that just blossoms with hints of sherry, vanilla, and spice, ending with a seamless, lingering finish. Awesome. — 11 days ago
