A pleasant surprise. Light to medium bodied, with some lemony citrus and nutty flavors. Soft finish. Acidity and minerality all good. Really enjoyed it with pasta e ceci ( even though half way through making it I realized i had no chickpeas and substituted cannelloni beans. ) — 21 days ago
By the glass. I think this was it? $20. Orangina up front with a lingering savoriness. — a day ago
Rich and succulent. Pairs well with Christmas starters, even here up in the arctic. Bought from the winery last summer. — a month ago
Give this a couple of hours to open up! Notes of white peach, sage, jasmine tea, white flowers. Tannins are there! A delicate beauty. — 6 days ago
Vintage 2010 | from Aglianico grapes. Lots of character, complex but stubborn as well. Barnyard smell, liquorice and steamed red summerfruit. Tannins. It is an interesting wine, for sure, and gains some friendliness with aeration. But it does not get me. Aged in old wood, I guess. | Paired with rib eye on day 1 and an onionpie on day 2. — 2 days ago

Opened several hours prior to dinner; likely not enough time. The nose is inimitably Italian with some indescribable dark fruits trying to peer past the earth and tobacco for which this wine has both in huge abundance. On the palate, the fruit is restrained and again, loads of earth, herbs and tobacco. The structure is a bit imposing at this point but certainly enjoyable. I’ll just be patient with my remaining two bottles. — 7 days ago
