If I could shower love on one varietal that doesn’t get enough love it would be this Aglianico. Dark small currants, blackberries & black plum on palate; smoke & camphor on nose. Pitch perfect balance between freshness & power, which I think is Aglianico ‘s great balancing act. Sweet drinking window now but this has legs too—-oh, & price is an absurd 30$ for this quality of wine & winemaking. — 6 days ago

This was sailing… meaty nose of rich burnt ends coupled with plum jam. Palate was viscous and mineral driven. S little too much acidity with a slightly citrus finish. Nice juxtaposition with the Siro, but this was always destined for second place tonight. — a month ago

Succulent white wine made with 100% Falanghina grapes from the heart of Taburno territory. On the nose, very persistent notes of fruit, acacia and white flowers. Some baked pear, dried apricot, a distant citrusy is sensed as well. On the palate, it is definitely dry, mild-solid mouthfeel, and distinctive structure and a long but not overwhelming finish. Bright and alive, nearly cero or no MLF at all. This wine can easily age beautifully. Drink now or hold until 2027. — 17 days ago

Decanted about 30 minutes prior to service; enjoyed over the course of a few hours. The 2007 pours a deep ruby color with an opaque core; medium viscosity with moderate staining of the tears and some signs of light sediment. On the nose, the wine is vinous with powerful notes of ripe red and dark fruits: brambles, kirsch, plum, tobacco, purple flowers, green bell pepper, leather, cocoa, and earth. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannins and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+. This is positively delightful right now and there are little signs of slowing down. Drink now through 2037. — 2 months ago
