Full flavored and still light on its feet because of a hefty amount of acid. Lemon marzipan nuts and a hint of lime. — 2 days ago
Worth the wait for the 2009. Dried fig, black cherry, anise, tobacco, violets, dust.. Tannins softened and just a little acid to keep things fresh. — a month ago

Lots of tropical fruit along with grapefruit. Delicious with food - reminded me of when I visited the winery nearly 20 years ago. — 13 days ago
Classic black cherry nose w hint of spice and oak. Great balance rich long finish — a month ago
Real treat: RRV SB w/bottle age - fattened up nicely, super expressive nose of tropical fruit mingled w/grass & hay, snap pea some green citrus. Added weight gave it heft juxtaposed w/vibrant acidic backbone. Just flat out delicious, generous really strutting its stuff. — 2 months ago

Short decant. Red color with subtle maroon tones. Lots of tea on the nose and a subtle herb that I can’t determine. Olives and herbs with more tea on the palate. On the lighter side. — 16 days ago
