Monte de Pinheiros Alentejano Branco

Monte de Pinheiros White Wine, Alentejano, 12.5% alc/vol, 55/30/10 blend of Antão Vaz, Arinto and Rupeiro. Pale yellow, excellent clarity. Aromas of stone fruit, white flowers and maybe hay, flavors of nectarine and white flowers. Fruity ripe pear or melon, nectarine and peach (or later dried apricot) finish with slight skin astringency and lactic aftertaste, good acidity but easy to drink. Very good value. (Yes, the fruit expression is weirdly all over the place over time). — 3 months ago

Crisp and refreshing with loads of citrus and tropical fruits. So easy to drink on such a hot day. Paired beautifully with Portuguese seafood stew.
Made from Antão Vaz, Arinto and Roupeiro, white varieties that I have not heard of before.

Herdade do Esporão

Monte Velho Alentejano Antão Vaz Blend 2021

McCarthy & Schiering, $11

Bursting with tropical flavors, lots of pineapple and guava, almost reminds me of POG juice. Balanced with a crisp acidity and very easy to drink. Amazing for the price, I immediately went back and grabbed 2 more bottles
