Second Thanksgiving bottle! Aperitif as we wait for the roasting duck. Dry and crispy sparkling Spanish rosé. The rain cleared out and it’s sunny and 60 degrees here in Brooklyn. Very nice. — 3 years ago
dangerously easy drink. it’s a light granache, slightly acidic, medium tannins — 5 months ago
Third wine at El Celler de Can Roca. It did not disappoint. Fantastic barolo. — 2 years ago
Apples, lime, and honey with a hint of nuttiness. Crisp with nice salinity. M- body, M+ acidity. Unorthodox, yet delicious pairing with pork larb. Purchased at Popina in Brooklyn, NY. — 3 years ago
Suave mas com sabor. Combinou muito bem com peixe e pão. — 3 years ago
100% Malbec grown at an altitude of 1600 meters in volcanic soil. This is not your average run of the mill South American Malbec. This Chilean wine is richly blueish red in color that streaks the glass with its viscous 14.5 ABV, medium plus body.
The nose is floral, herbal, and spicy. On the palate the pepper leads, accompanied by fresh red fruit, wood and nuts. The tannins are smooth and the finish is long.
This wine is stellar and it is not done improving, as the oak notes will develop into tertiary flavors. I have more that I will save and comment on later. Vive Chile!!!

Bright berries with cherry, hint of vanilla and oak notes. Call me crazy but getting some subtle black pepper. Medium tannin and acidity. Pleasant. — 3 years ago

Everything good meant by the song, “Tiny bubbles.” Hints of melon, lemon curd, and minerality waft out of a delicate effervescence. — 11 days ago
