Good covered fruity nose. On tongue plum and astringent tannins, not particularly complex, with slight bitter tannin at the finish. Probably needs a bit more time, but good enough at the moment. 2021 in November 2025 — a day ago

5 years is a great spot for this. It's inky and clings to the glass. Blackberry, cherry, cocoa, mint, graphite. Decent structure, it punches above its weight class. I'd do it again, especially with tri-tip.
