The palate is forward despite the youth of the wine, medium bodied plus, gorgeous fruit and decent length of the delicious gripping finale. 92-93

Très jeune donc carafé 5 heures avant de le boire, dégusté avec le délicieux et copieux menu hivernal de la Cabane d’à côté, commandé et livré à la maison via la boutique en ligne du Pied de Cochon. Un nez très aromatique, une explosion de fruits, cerises, fraises, kirsch, du poivre blanc, du thym, une touche florale. La bouche se montre avenante, ouverte malgré la jeunesse, belle acidité, ce fruité envoutant dont on ne se lasse pas et une finale delicieuse et de belle longueur, avec juste un peu de poigne sans être trop tannique. 92-93 pts

Bouteille orpheline exposée dans la vitrine du restaurant le Pied de cochon à Montréal, transformé temporairement, pandémie oblige, en pizzeria/caviste. Une fois les formalités d'adoption complétées, ce rosé n'a pas eu à patienter longtemps avant de rencontrer la vrille. On est loin ici du rosé de canicule. Sérieux, séveux, avec un profil aromatique assez unique et difficilement descriptible. On y trouve un petit fruit rouge, mais en mode mineur. La courte finale nous empêche d'exagérer la notation, mais ne gâche en rien l'expérience. Beau hasard! — 6 years ago

A nice burgundy from Fixin. Definitely a good value. Needs 30+ minutes to air out a bit. Very smooth with soft tannins, some good earth, restrained fruit. Aromatics are a touch muted. But very nice with a variety of rich food at Au Pied du Cochon in Montreal. — 9 years ago
