Great deep dark fruit f. Garrigue needs some rime but drinking well — 6 years ago
Bordeaux style blend of Merlot (64%), Cabernet Sauvignon (17%), Cabernet Franc (10%) and Petite Verdot (9%). Dark ruby/purple color with a garnet rim. Aromas of dark berry fruit, graphite and dusty earth. Flavors of blackberry, black cherry, ripe plums, kirsch, black licorice and iron. Full bodied, long finish and intensely structured. Beautifully integrated acidity and tannins. Great combination of power and elegance. — a month ago
Easy taste with great meat — 5 years ago
Classic Amarone. Perhaps more structure than typical. Long finish. Also drier than typical. Perhaps this just means it needs to integrate more with age. Very unique wine in any case. Will definitely revisit. — 6 years ago
Awesome at ocean rime — a year ago
Really loved this light and fruity red! — 4 years ago
Noticeable oak, settled quite ripe fruit with lemon oil and oyster shells. Very polished (malolactic smoothness?). Needs rime. — 7 years ago
