2015 vintage. Holding back and initially a bit severe. Better the next day (decanting recommended) when it displayed Pauillac-like cassis and lead pencil. Black fruits, rather high acidity and good mineral length. I suspect this will benefit from further ageing. Abv. 14%. — 4 years ago
Strong primary flavor of cherries with subtle secondary flavors of mint and leather. — 7 years ago
I never would have tried this without this board. It's got the nose/aroma of a SB but is cloudy, viscous and rich. Last Friday of Lent so had it with Ridgeback shrimp and Manila clams. Although not as crisp and austere as a typical SB it was delightful. — 8 years ago
Excellent-especially for the price! — 6 years ago
To quote martine "meh. It is not St. Chamant.". Still ok, i mean its not agent orange. A touch cheese rindy, but without a Ridgeback to eat cheese rind.. fine bubble and mousse. Unsure I'd pay for it, because St. chamant. But still — 8 years ago
