Hooray Chardonnay. It’s like you’ve been running around, partying with rosé, flinging yourself at chilled red and then...your non-binary (Chard should know no gender identification) friend Chardonnay says, let’s hang out. And you find them wise but unpretentious and soothing. This is that. You can be you around good Chard. Wow. I love Chablis so much. Honeysuckle, orange blossom, but then like, mine rally stone out the wazoo. Then like ripe citrus and underripe white peaches. Chardonnay from the right place can be here for you. — 6 years ago

Steely, lean and mine rally - as expected and fantastic! — 7 years ago
Impressive Gredos Garnacha by visionary winemaker Telmo Rodríguez - a crucial figure in Gredos’ recent boom. Back in the 1990s, when most vineyards in the area were being abandoned, Rodríguez, alongside business partner and famous rally driver Carlos Sainz (hence the name Pegaso, inspired by the famous truck brand) started purchasing old vineyards in Cebreros, such as the three plots on slate soils where this wine comes from. Soon, several other winemakers followed suit. Complex, mineral, heavier and warmer than Gredos’ “typical” granite soil Garnachas. — 7 years ago
Dark ruby with bouquet of cassis, graphite, dark berries, a little Bret. Very round tannins, lush mouth feel with cassis, earth, berries, and some licorice. Hot year made this rally suave compared to other cooler yrs of Sociando. Not stewed at all and drinking beautifully now. Probably very nice over next ten yrs — 7 years ago
