Ruby red with pink hues on edge. Bouquet of dark berries, tobacco, cedar, flowers, earth. Crystallized berries, iron, light baking spices, cherries with very long, deep finish. Drinking beautifully now and good for another 5 yrs easily — 5 years ago
Light gold color, small bubbles, nose of honey, wheat, marzipan, apples, pears, yeast. Round flavors of honey and stone fruits with good acidity but round ripeness too. Drinking great now and will enjoy seeing it mature further over the next 10-15 yrs of great drinking — 5 years ago
Great showing and paired well with oysters. Light yellow color, bouquet of orange blossoms, toast, minerals with flavors of citrus, chalk, nuts. Long finish with good acidity and round, dense fruit. Drinking well now and probably fine over next 5+ yrs. best showing of Michel 2014 Premier Crus that I recall — 4 years ago
This was my favorite showing of this vintage during the past 15 yrs. PnP and it was singing right out the bottle. Violets, plums, black cherries in bouquet and flavors. Very silky and reminiscent of aged Ch. Margaux. This wine started out brawny more like Latour but has evolved into a well rounded more feminine style that is absolutely gorgeous now. Not much change overnight in glass so it may stay at this stage a few more years with ease — 4 years ago
Dark garnet color with leather and earth bouquet. Flavors of cranberry, tobacco, leather, nutmeg. Long well balanced finish slight finishing tannins but perfect w red meats. Overachiever — 5 years ago
Dark ruby with bouquet of cassis, graphite, dark berries, a little Bret. Very round tannins, lush mouth feel with cassis, earth, berries, and some licorice. Hot year made this rally suave compared to other cooler yrs of Sociando. Not stewed at all and drinking beautifully now. Probably very nice over next ten yrs — 5 years ago
This was an awesome bottle of New World Chardonnay. Orchard fruit, toast, vanilla in bouquet. Thick full bodied flavors of the same with good structure. Finish lingered for a minute. Look forward to drinking my last bottle in a few yrs but it’s in a great place now — 4 years ago
This was a very interesting tasting experience. 3rd btl since release and changing for the better. Highly extracted Purple in color with nose of berries, cherry, herbs, licorice and taste of cherry mocha blackberry and vanilla. Certainly New World but better balanced w time. The wine became more focused and less jammy over the evening and wine left in the glass showed some tannin along with the good fruit. I am wondering if this is going to age like many 82 Bordeaux that originally seemed too fruity and unstructured to last but have truly showed the test of time. The background tannins have me considering this to be the future ? I think it is going to be going strong with good balance well into its second decade of life — 4 years ago
Ruby colored, bouquet of leather, varnish, Tobacco. Medium body, flavors of toffee, red berries, and peach. Pretty wine especially at 49 yrs young. It actually improved after decanting for 30 mins and didn’t fade over the next hr of drinking — 5 years ago

Still dark magenta color with very little browning. Amazingly fresh and continues to improve in the glass over first hour upon pouring. Bouquet of dark fruit, earth, cedar, and faint baking spices. Medium bodied and well balanced flavors of cherry, plum, nice structure that become rounder with some toffee notes emerging after 20 mins. These 375s have been amazing over past two yrs. one left for seeing what happens in the next 5-10 yrs as an experiment. Hard to believe it will fall apart that fast after 50 yrs and still drinking well — 4 years ago
