Got at the most amazing local and old method winery in the Douro Valley. A blend of old and new grapes - just enough sweetness and a beautiful floral bouquet! — 10 months ago

Don't know the Portuguese Grape but it's granache like. Great with BBQ octopus — 9 years ago

The wine continued to get better over the course of dinner. It had a lot more fruit than I would have expected for a European wine even though it was a Syrah. — 11 years ago
A delicious blend of old growth vines. Picked up myself in Portugal on a tour of the Douro Valley! — 6 months ago

Rich cherry and black currant nose. Color is purple with a watery thin edge. In the mouth it is not as sweet as the nose is. There is a rather fresh acidity bringing balance. It will be accompanied by the veal cheeks and mash. Looking forward to that.
As the bottle was opened anyhow to use a glass in the stew we already started tasting 😉. — 6 years ago
Nice dry and lots of mineral. Would be great with cheese and grapes and such. — 9 years ago
Prontissimo, taninos abrandados, aroma complexo, Bom corpo apesar da evolucao, belo Vinho, grata surpresa — 10 years ago
Sarsaparilla, kalamata olive and prune on the nose and on the palette. Beautiful Portuguese wine. — 11 years ago
97 percent Syrah from the Lisbon region. Tastes like an old school Bordeaux but with a little something-something from Portugal. Yum. — 12 years ago
This has to open up. In the glass of in a decanter and then it’s fantastic. Complex and aromatic. I’d drink it all day. — 7 months ago
Dark rubi robe, nose of spices, tobacco and black fruits with hints of dark cherries. In the mouth its rich but not exaggerated, medium bodied, elegant tanins, well balanced with great freshness. Ends on a sappy and spicy note and one wants more. Really excellent wine that deserves the reputation. Recommended ! — 4 years ago

It's there own label. Nice dry white with seafood in Lisbon. — 9 years ago
Uncorked it, splashed half the bottle into a blender -- breathe, breathe -- poured the slosh into a dainty glass, then stuffed it down with burger, roasted broccoli and cauliflower, followed by a German chocolate cupcake. Anyway, point is, I liked it. — 11 years ago
2001. Aerated for 8 hrs in bottle. Spicy, high alc was not balanced. Young. Drink. — 12 years ago
