Provencal Rose

Château Miraval

Côtes de Provence Rosé Blend 2017

It is not only the first real sunny day in our garden that makes this a good rosé. It is simply well made. Beautiful pale as Provence rosés are. Some flowers like roses and strawberries in the nose. Tastes simply excellent. If you can buy it for the right price it is in my opinion a very good glass of wine. — 14 days ago

Brut Rosé Blend

Lovely, delicate, beautiful strawberry notes, just the faintest hint of sweetness. Really elegant on palate, tiny, soft bubbles — 12 days ago

Domaine Tour Campanets

Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence Rosé

That was a no brainer. Picked this one up for the store without a second thought! A pretty nose of wild strawberries. The palate is delicate with more wild strawberries plus white peach and a clean, mineral finish. Oh, and it’s organic. Oh, and it’s a woman winemaker. — 5 days ago

Cibonne

Côtes de Provence Tibouren Rosé

Peach lemonade in the glass. A touch cloudy and gray, but delicate looks. Slightly astringent and hot on the nose. Nectarine pit, cloudberry, and a touch of acetone on the tongue. Almost orange wine like spices and spark. Surprising and lovely. Abso-frickin-ideal for pairing with briny seafood as well as something richer like a Malaysian honey BBQ chicken with mango salsa. — 18 days ago

Barton & Guestier

Côtes de Provence Grenache Blend Rosé

Grenache, cinsault, Syrah I was drinking red but opened this to cool down the seared tuna I made with crusted peppercorns. Paired nicely. Crisp, dry, refreshing. Enjoyed. Will bring rest of bottle to the beach this weekend. I bought this several weeks ago as a buy one get one free at Publix. Very good buy. Would buy again not on sale. — 16 days ago

Domaine Tempier

Bandol Rosé 2015

The 2015 Tempier Rosé is drinking marvelously after a few years. The grapes used to make this rosé come from selected parcels where the vines are on average 20-years-old. This wine immediately awakens to aromas of rose water, lemon zest, smoke and ripe guava that are simply sensational. The palate unveils a wonderful concentration and a gorgeous, soft texture. Guava purée and red cherry candy flavors connect with suggestions of blood orange toward the back end. Truly delightful to savor now, this beautiful Rosé will continue to evolve in the cellar over the next decade. Drink 2019-2028- 92 — 25 days ago

Excellent. Not Tempier level seriousness but this is damn good rose. Mineral, bright fruit, lively acidity. Great juice. — 8 days ago
