I tend to love the weird wines made from masters. Think Paolo Bea Arboreous or Joly Coulee de Serrant or LDH Rose.
Everything about this is artificially flavored candy. It looks like cherry lollipop and smells like red Kool-Aid and Robitusson. Tastes like watermelon Jolly Rancher.
Powerful and viscous as hell, even hot. I know these can age forever and I’d love to see an older bottle. Tons of fun. — 4 days ago
The spectacularly viscous, savory, herbal Provencial rose’s are a big favorite but for most of the best ones, you spend a lot more for subtle, though not insignificant improvements.
Clos Cibonne seems to be a well known exception. You get the extra joie de vivre sans the premium. It’s one of the few wines I buy with cadence. Heavy on orange and rose hips and follows with the herbs we love - rosemary, fennel, thyme, some tropical notes filling the gaps. — 19 days ago
17/20 (92/100) Приятный и элегантный аромат с нотами яблок, груш, малины и апельсинов, а также жареного ореха. Умеренная тельность и довольно высокая кислотность. Мягкое и свежее во вкусе. Отличный Прованс! — 5 days ago
Crisp, dry, apple and berry notes. Great summer wine. Also good at the airport during a three hour layover. — 11 hours ago
Really good rose. Floral nose, crisp and acidic, and has that nice strawberry flavor on the finish. I’m not a huge fan of rose though, so probably not worth the step up in price. — 13 days ago
Was skeptical with the brand name, but this rosé really surprised me!
Very light in color and not very fragrant, and drinks very light. Slightly acidic to start, but in a nice way...and drinks very smooth and lightly with flavors of strawberry and stone fruit, but over powering. For being on sale at Costco for $13, definitely worth it! — 6 days ago
This is the type of rosé that will never die. I will drink it til I die. Bury me with this Bandol. Until then, it is perfect w/ this chicken sausage zucchini pizza — 6 days ago
