Jordy’s bday! Silky, smooth with a sweet finish — 4 years ago
This is a version of Primitivo quite different to what we are used in Italy.
I am sure it has its lovers
6 months in French oak and 6 in American oak too
The wine has a deep colour
Multitude of spices over a big fruit.
It is a step away from a Barossa wine and two away from a classic Primitvo.
But it is definitely long and mouth fulling.

really liked this, hadn't heard of this varietal - ended thinking it tasted like Pecorino. straw colored, lovely nose of citrus & white flowers, waxy, herbaceous, a wild element, even some tropical fruit as it warmed, med bodied, silky yet vibrant acidity, more mineral on palate but still w/fruit from nose... persistent finish. what a treat! bump for QPR — 4 days ago
