A gorgeous Vernaccia!! — 10 years ago
An absolute stunner from a small family owned Canadian producer in BC’s Thompson Valley just outside Kamloops. Fabulous layering, clean crisp, slightly tart taste with long legs revealing a hint of toasted oak and vanilla finish. “Barrel fermented in French oak then rested for an additional year in the bottle” this Chardonnay is top tier. Cheers 🍷🇨🇦 — 6 years ago
So many exciting wines to try from British Columbia (and the rest of Canada); this is one of them! Thanks to Eric D for hauling it back from a vacation (& sharing)! — 6 years ago
E detto che Tom Cruise viene al chateau per comprarlo dal suo jet privato. Molto profondo e ha Profumo buono. La colore e' quasi nero. Era buono mercato ($23). Vorrei ancora durante l'inverno. — 8 years ago

2020 vintage.
100 % Pinot Noir from Thompson River Valley in northern British Columbia, Canada.
Tesoro means “Treasure “ in Italian.
18 months in French oak then an additional year in bottle.
Very floral with black cherries, lavender and toasty oak.
Think Burgundy with a hint of earthiness.
Tannins and acidity are blending well to make a soft and silky mouthfeel.
We had yaki soba with local foraged Matsutake mushrooms. — 2 months ago
