100 % Pinot Noir from Thompson River Valley in northern British Columbia, Canada.
Tesoro means “Treasure “ in Italian.
18 months in French oak then an additional year in bottle.
Very floral with black cherries, lavender and toasty oak.
Think Burgundy with a hint of earthiness.
Tannins and acidity are blending well to make a soft and silky mouthfeel.
We had yaki soba with local foraged Matsutake mushrooms.
