This wine is colored yellow-gold. I found the nose to be strange, with apple, pear, and nectarine aromas up front, followed by an odd scent of vanilla and butter. It has a hint of the smell of the butter offered on popcorn at the movies. The palate gives the fruit center stage as well, with oak notes a bit more prominent. The acidity is nice and the mouthfeel is full. It's not a wine I will seek out in the future, even though I rather like buttery Chardonnay. — 2 months ago
While its name doesn’t sound like an SB from NZ, it sure tastes like one. Pronounced passion fruit, a little green apple, and more lime than other Sauv Blancs. Refreshing and great value at TJs. — 5 months ago

Esporão never disappoints. Oak really comes through with Bold wild berries, a hint of anise and vanilla. Alcohol is maybe a little too prominent which makes me think in a couple of years of cellaring this its true character will truly shine. — 4 months ago

Always a treat to drink 80’s Napa Cabernet. This from 6L bought from the winery cellar.
