Nose: plums, dark cherry, tea, blackberry, dust. Color a little light for cab - but smells more refined than the color would suggest. Tastes good - smooth, medium weight, not as silky I would like - but nice flavors of cigar and graphite and some spice and mildly bitter herbs (bay?). Doesn’t have the weight or mouthfeel I prefer, but the flavors are definitely above average. I like it! Good deal at $14. — 6 months ago

Interesting little Vino Verde. Some skin contact makes it a Rose’. Fruit forward (apple) but reasonably dry. Typical VV low alcohol and effervescence. Easy drinking and refreshing. Thanks Chris! — 2 years ago

The blend pours up to a medium-dark garnet color. Aromas of cassis, tobacco and spice are up front on the nose, with a hint of bell pepper in the background. The fruit is juicy on the palate, with jammy black and red berries and a stout set of tannins. This wine was made for steak, the bigger the better. — 7 months ago
