Preisinger Reinberger, Rhein Riesling Wagramstölln 2018
First Austrian Riesling if I'm not mistaking and probably not the last as it's pretty good! Lemon and lemon zest along with white pepper and some flowery notes. This is a beautiful nose. The palate is dry but very well balanced : great acid, great width, a soft mouthfeel yet quite vibrant, some lemony touches all along, there is matter and it's quite complex. The finish is long, dry and fresh with lemon and lemon zest. Grezt effort and the balance of it makes it much better than most of the German Riesling I tasted recently — 3 years ago

i love this unfiltered rosé blend. it didn’t taste much like a rosé since it had a little more body than most rosé’s - more medium bodied. the lack of filtration gave it some nice texture. it does bright raspberry noted balanced by some gripping tannins. i am into this! i’d love to have again. i had at frog bar and haven’t seen this bottle before — 2 years ago
