Preisinger Reinberger, Rhein Riesling Wagramstölln 2018
First Austrian Riesling if I'm not mistaking and probably not the last as it's pretty good! Lemon and lemon zest along with white pepper and some flowery notes. This is a beautiful nose. The palate is dry but very well balanced : great acid, great width, a soft mouthfeel yet quite vibrant, some lemony touches all along, there is matter and it's quite complex. The finish is long, dry and fresh with lemon and lemon zest. Grezt effort and the balance of it makes it much better than most of the German Riesling I tasted recently — 2 years ago
I have been searching for this wine. It was with the hunt. Tart spring berries and a little salt at the finish. Now to find the Puszta Libre!! — 25 days ago

apricot, orange, golden apple skin, grapefruit, orange peel, prickly pear, sage, very salty! — 3 years ago
Very mineralic at first. Blueberry's, pepper and a very mouthwatering acidity. With some air the fruity es will grow stronger, remarkably strong but never like jam. Always light, funky and with a touch of pepper and a hint of leather. A Zweigelt to remember. — a month ago
Dry with notes of grapefruit initially and then more mandarin as it opened up. Some sweetness of the nose. Nice salinity and acidity. — 4 months ago
This is the white blend, not the red. Very floral, fresh, and fruity. The name of this wine describes the flavor profile perfectly. — 2 years ago
carmen
austrian pinot noir?
it smells sweet. it tastes tannic, sour, slightly funky. it has notes of black cherry, raspberry, vanilla and oak. this is an easy chillable red to drink.
i paired with pad thai. the juicy tannic flavors cut through the rich nuttiness of the pad thai. — 21 days ago
