Porta 6 is a mass produced Portuguese blended rws wine that is inexpensive but always gives good value on taste and quality.
The grapes are 50% Aragonez, 40% Castelão and 10% Touriga Naciona and this gives it balanced body with good colour and a jammy, dark and red fruit taste.

Very heavy, typical full fruity delicious Portuguese red. We had a bottle at dinner in Porto and brought one back to Narberth for our last night in Pembs. Up there with Esporao — 5 years ago
If one Portuguese varietal grabs me it’s Baga, & this bottling is one of the higher end bottlings I’ve tried. It’s early in its development so demands decanting and/or aging, but the stuffing is all there. Ripe red cherries, medium light body, some Burgundy adjacent analogies I’m sure. — 3 months ago
The label would normally be off putting to me, but I’m always interested in a female vintner, especially when she is the daughter of a famous Portuguese maker. What a revelation-drinks more like a sparkling Savoie or alpine rose. Close to the bone dry. Lovely pink color. Fine mousse. I love that label now…. — 3 years ago
Fit for a King! A majestic bouquet of noir cherries, sweet plum, cinnamon, anise and French lavender. Velvety tannins along with a medium complexity and a smooth texture allures a sinful bite at the end. The Portuguese outdid themselves on this one!!! — 4 years ago
2024 Neipoort Redoma BrancoYoung Portuguese white blend at Vinum (Graham’s cellars restaurant). Enjoyed with heirloom tomato salad, clams Bulhão Pato, and whole sole. Fresh, mineral and stone fruits. — 8 months ago
Portuguese wines continue to deliver. Dark fruits with hints of graphite, dark chocolate make a great combo. — 5 years ago

Black cherry and plum fruit-forward aromas and on the palate with a little spiciness too, a lush mouth feel with balanced acidity and soft tannins. This is what I want in a Portuguese red!!
Also, love a detailed label!!
