Extremely dense, rustic and concentrated. Dark ruby/inky color. Highly aromatic nose of violets, Earl grey tea and black fruit. Intense ripe red and dark fruit flavors with notes of balsamic vinegar and baking spices. Juicy, with very fine tannins and a very smooth finish. Revisited in December 2022. Very heavy, typical full fruity delicious Portuguese red. We had a bottle at dinner in Porto and brought one back to Narberth for our last night in Pembs. Up there with Esporao

Easy to drink, but quite boring. Tasted kind of like Cabernet Franc & Malbec. Maybe needed to age 5+ years? I dunno. A little overpriced at $25 @wtso
