Really good flavor. Fruity with mild spice. Cherry, raspberries. Dark purple in color. Drank this bottle at Simeon's restaurant in Ithaca. Tim and I paired with flat iron steak and duck breast. Paired really nicely. Would definitely drink and order this again. — 8 years ago

A good - not sweet - Primitivo with a taste that is round, smooth, soft and elegant. Jam and blueberries, pitch dark colour. Originates from near Manduria, by the family Orsini, which descents from the Italian pope Benedetto XIII, hence the ‘Papale’ name of the wine. — 3 years ago
