Lemon Yellow in colour. Muted nose initially giving a mineral and lemon note. Very lemony and citrus generally on the palate, eventually a stony, river pebble like minerality. Bracing acidity which will see this go on for a few more years. The following day a marine shell note. Preferred the 2013 Deep Woods Reserve Chardonnay for a quarter of the price. — 3 years ago
Aging nicely with a reddish brown color. Very cherry, mint, and mushroom aromas. On the bud, smooth with a nice finish of cherry, strawberry, and a subtle spice note. — 8 months ago
Pale straw color; passion fruit, white peach, and lime zest on the nose; high acidity; tastes like honey dew, jasmine, and lemon with a long finish. Nellie says it's ok. A little too acidic for her. — 2 years ago
This is beautiful. The nose lasts long and smells thick with rose, dry dirt, potpourri, dark ripe fruit. There’s still pretty grippy tannin structure and acidity that makes your mouth salivate and desire more. The rose really comes out on the palate, maybe a touch of lavender, moist funky dirt, ripe mulled blackberries. The finish is long. The ripeness of the blackberry really hits right at the finish and hangs on. Give this a bit of a decant, at least 30 minutes. I want more, but have none. — 3 years ago

Burt Williams last wine ever made. Still youthful and balanced. The oak was well integrated unlike the WS that Bob made. I wish I had another bottle. — 5 months ago
