Bourgogne Blanc Chardonnay 2020

Really picking up now with mellowed acidity and an more pronounced fruit profile. Lactic note with some mushroom and medium finish. This is very nice! — 6 days ago

'Perles Grises' Coteaux du Vendômois Pineau d'Aunis

A rose sparkler. Prodigious medium course bubbles. A bit of funk on the nose. The palate features tart underripe strawberries, cranberries, grapefruit, white pepper, with a bit of gunpowder appearing late. Medium plus acid, medium alcohol, bone dry, medium finish. — 16 days ago

Red Bordeaux Blend 2020

An excellent 2020 Bordeaux 4 years on. Silky and smooth, with hints of cherries and plums, great with a red meat meal. — 4 months ago

Clos St. Marc Nuits St. Georges 1er Cru Pinot Noir 2013

PnP. Initial taste of bright red cherries and a hint of herbs, fantastic. Then after 15 min the acid and tannin just dominated the fruit. That transformation tarnished what I thought was to be one enjoyable Pinot. Maybe time will help just not sure how the acid and tannin grew with air. Hope someone can explain this for me. — 10 months ago

Les Bons Batons Bourgogne Pinot Noir 2018

Densely knit cherry fruit with some spice and burgundy funk. The vintage shows its weight without being over the top.. Small mineral driven finish. Lovely. — 8 months ago
