Dark ruby, pretty full bodied, stewed red fruit, wet granite, some tobacco, cocoa. From Amaro Spirits and Wine. 03/23/21 — 20 days ago
really great find from crush wine & spirits in NYC. $25 red burgundy with a lot going on. fresh, tart sour cherry, an earthy / damp leaves component, a thicker mineral backbone, a hint of eucalyptus maybe? there’s a bit of herbal tea on the finish. this ones a winner. — a month ago
Rhonda likes on par with knob creek, but it is different (and different than most bourbon) — 22 days ago
I have long been a fan of St. George for a long time, and this confirms my high opinion of them. Nose of rye spice with vanilla and bananas foster, and on the taste, honey-sweetened tea with clove and pepper, masala tea spices, oak, and bitter chocolate. Orange emerges immediately on the finish with subsequent honey. — a month ago
Still grapey and youthful, with spirits evident, even after 9 hour decant, but wonderful fruit that follows the Dow style towards moderate, rather than ebullient, sweetness, but super excellent with great complexity, needs 15-25 more years in the cellar. — a month ago
Last tried this at Guldbaren in the Nobis Hotel in Stockholm. Essentially made for the Swedish market because they love cardamom. And indeed this is all cardamom... — a month ago

I try not to be such a G.D. Vajra fanboy but every wine of theirs I have blows me away. This is the best yet. Beautiful bouquet of cherry with a spicy sweetness, maybe chocolate? Silky smooth berry on the palate that coats your entire mouth with just a touch of acidity that I can only describe as juicy. Finishes with a sweet creamy slightly spice note kind of like a mocha. I'm still new in my wine journey but so far this wine is as close to perfect as I've had. — 9 days ago

Caramel, vanilla, grain smell (obvious given it is a wheat whiskey but still there). Moderately smooth with still a hint of harshness. Got to give some props to a KS/MO distiller. Like it but still have a preference to a CO whiskey and of course, some Japanese whisky. — a month ago
