Opened this in early January and having the occasional night cap finished it 2 nights ago. Notes of dried fruit, spice, nuts and burnt flavours. This port fills every corner of your mouth - unctuous. Seppeltsfield have this amazing tradition of releasing a 100 year old Port every year. The 1919 will be released later this year. — 7 years ago

The bottle looks fantastic and the liquid inside was extremely special too. I am not sure what it is the process for these wines; is it a vintage port or a tawny? This inexpensive Garnacha rocks. Solid, medium to full bodied. Lasts on your palate. True to Garnacha. Dark plums and cherry. Spicy at the finish. Such a great wine at such a cost. Value is intrinsic to Spanish wines. Great with grilled halibut and white Spanish Asparagus with olive oil and rich mayó. Crusty bread and butter. Tres Leches also goes well with it. The kids are home for the weekend- they are as charming as expected. The wine- better than any dessert wine or port we could have opened. Have the bottle is gone! We smell tobacco, fig, and plum.
