Sweet berry fruit, forward nose but mild and delicate palate, pleasant frut driven finish.

Zinny says: fragrant and delicious. Nose oozes ripe essence of spicy blackberry, along with smoky gravel and yeasty fresh bread notes. Mouthfilling, rich but not jammy, it's a big but balanced wine for rustic table scraps or grilled cow parts. Beef. That's it. You know what I mean. Woof.

UPDATE: Developing intense stony mineral scent with air time.

Deep ruby in color with a purple rim.

Fruity on the nose with oak, blackberries, blueberries, cedar, earth, vanilla and black pepper.

Medium bodied with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with black fruits, oak, vanilla and chocolate.

Long finish with round tannins.

14.9% alcohol by volume.

Aged for 12 months in new and 1 year old, oak barrels.

What a nice 100% Zinfandel. Very recommended. I will buy again.
