I’ve had this 2017 a few times now. Opened 3 days ago snd was tight and austere. Now it’s gorgeous. Cherry fruit leather. Hint of black and licorice. Dusty tannins, likely to be at its peak in a couple of years. — 8 months ago
Deep Ruby with aromas of berries, leather and earthy notes, blend of 80% Sangiovese, 10% Malvasia Nera and 10% Colorino. On the palate flavors of black cherry and blackberries with leather, cacao and earthy herbs. Long finish, round tannins ending with fruit and earthy character. Very nice!! — 2 years ago
Blend of Negroamaro (90%) and Malvasia Nera (10%). Bright ruby color with a distinct brick rim. Aromas of black fruits, roasted meat and purple flowers. Flavors of black cherry, ripe plums and baking spices. Long, earthy and powerful finish. Bone dry, rustic and full bodied. Thanks for opening, Chris B. — 3 months ago
Delicious. Great mouthfeel, acid and fruit. Drank with baked ziti. Wouldn’t want to age much longer. — 10 months ago

One of my absolute favorites, but I have to order it from Italy. Vernaccia nera grape — a year ago
Part 2 of grocery store adventures… lemon pith, hay, tart white peach, cantaloupe, orange blossom on the nose. On the palate lemonade and tangerine pith, white peach, hints of lemongrass and basil and a touch of saline with a nice viscous body and a medium finish. Impressive value for a budget buy from my neighborhood Giant. Probably would go well with seafood, salads, and light tangy cheeses (or faux-cheeses ;) ) — a year ago

Medium ruby in color, sparkling; raspberries and blueberries on the nose; tastes like cherry jolly ranchers and candied berries. A really nice dessert wine. I like it. — 2 months ago
