Revisiting at home after buying several bottles of Cantine Neri. Light gold coloration. On the nose, apple, pear and citrus. Some minerals. On the palate, peach, lemon, and a long finish of strong minerality balanced with citrus. Medium to fuller bodied white with strong acidity. Fantastic white. — 5 months ago

A very nice Orvieto. Light & bright at first, nice finish, went well with rich cheeses and Genoa samlami. Makes me remember wild boar ragu — drank after left out of refrigerator for 1 hour. — 4 years ago

Revisiting this wine at home after tasting at the winery. Ruby coloration with some transparency. On the nose, cherry, red berries, currants, some earthiness and minerals. On the palate, medium, lighter body, cherry, red berry, cola, earthiness, minerality/graphite and strong and long finish of minerality and graphite. Good tannins present. A very different and surprising red. I didn’t expect to like it but it is a refreshing and very drinkable red on this hot summer day in Florida. — 5 months ago
