Just opening my last bottle of this gem, which I have savor end for years. One of the best zins I have ever tasted. With age reminds me of Côte Roti or even Chateauneuf du Pape. Sweet dark cherry, plum with pepper to balance it all. — 11 years ago

Everything you could ask for from a single vineyard Napa Cabernet. The 06 vintage was a particularly good one for Dalraddy Vineyard and Alex took advantage of it. On the nose you're presented with ripe blueberries, plum and tobacco. On the palate the dark berry flavor takes over and is enhanced by generous notes of chocolate covered bing cherries. A jammy, fruit-driven, serious Cabernet that gives many of the "big" names a run for their money. — 12 years ago

Interesting wine. Light golden, a bit fleshy, but restrained salty/austere at the same time. A bit wooly/waxy. A bit oxidative? Zero chance you’d guess this an Albariño/Godello blend from the Sierra foothills. My mind actually went to Rhône. // edit: this improved significantly on day two. Could definitely taste the Albariño — a year ago
