PPM 258
Edition 6.3 — 4 years ago
Gloriously peaty — 5 years ago
PPM 169. When opened, can smell the peat five feet away. When shoving glass right beneath nose, aroma is (surprisingly) apricots and fruit. In mouth is like massive barbecue woodsmoke attack. Long lingering notes of bourbon cask, dying pitfire embers. Most assertive Islay I have tasted. — 7 years ago
The 13.3 version is still a stunner. A touch sweeter than the 10.3 but still lovely. Lots of smoke, smooth, with a bite and a complex finish. Will continue to buy these every year. Love. — 2 years ago
Suuuuuuuper peaty Octomore but in a good way. Loooooved it. — 2 years ago
Peat and salinity are definitely at the forefront. But I love both and there is enough malt to provide some balance to my taste. — 2 years ago
You can recognise the citric smell of Bruichladdich and other familiar aromatics. The taste is surprising, strong and earthy — 6 years ago

Super. Very smoky and very complex. A couple of drops of distilled water and it opened up amazing. Chocolate, oatmeal, bran, vanilla, caramel. — 7 months ago
