Red berries on nose. Strawberry, blackberry, plum and leather with bright acidity and assertive tannins. Too tannic on its own, but excellent with Thanksgiving dinner — 6 years ago
Good! Trader Joe’s. — 4 months ago
Clear, pale ruby in color; on the nose, it's clean with medium intensity primary aromas of bananas, tart cherries, and violets; on the palate, it's dry with high acidity, low tannins, medium alcohol, light body, and pronounced primary flavors of pomegranates, strawberry jolly ranchers, and clay pots with a medium finish. This wine is exactly what it should be. Cheap and cheerful. Overall, I rate this wine as good. — 6 months ago
Rich Pinot Noir from Oregon that is Burgundian in style. Masculine Pinot Noir with deep dark fruit and earthy flavors. Excellent. — a year ago
Lemon zest nose, dry cherry — 5 years ago
Very good. Very Pinot, not overly funk. Currants, little bit of chalk. Worth a second case. — 6 years ago

Of all the #beaujolaisnouveau that I’ve had this one seems really well made and cellar worthy. This was bottled 12 months ago and is drinking like a Boss! Fruity, juicy and soft. — 8 months ago

Super yummy!!!! — 5 years ago
Heavy, rich tannery, leather, cigar smoke, hot cinnamon. Plums.
Woah, reminds me why I love this region. Not the most rounded Vacqueyras I’ve had, but definitely got the smokey, rich, spicy, full body notes I love, paired with an incredibly silky mouthfeel.
Intense fruits of blackberry, raspberry, plums. Moderate to high acidity works well here with the intense jams. — 6 years ago

Dark ruby in color with a wide reddish rim. Not showing much age.
Beautiful and complex nose with black plums, black currants, black cherry compote, cedar, light vanilla, licorice, dark chocolates, black tea, tobacco leaf, earth, dark coffee and black pepper.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with black currants, black plums, cooked cherries, oak, licorice, earth, tobacco leaf, peppercorn, herbs and mediterranean spices.
Long finish with round tannins and tangy cherries.
This 13 year old Merlot still feels young, but already gorgeous. Elegant and nicely balanced, with great complexity, especially on the nose. Feels like a Napa Cabernet Sauvignon at this point.
Still showing lots of fruits with big tannins to carry it for the long haul. Will continue to age nicely in the next 15 years. Has good potential to become a 96 point wine.
Needs 30 minutes in the glass to open up properly.
Robert Parker 100 points.
A great sipping wine that will also pair nicely with food.
A blend of 89% Merlot, 8% Cabernet Franc and 3% Malbec. Aged in all new French oak barrels for 15 months.
14.1% alcohol by volume.
94 points.
