Straw colored, smooth mouthfeel. Nose of new rubber with hint of barnyard. Lots going on in flavor, very good. — 3 years ago

Dayblazer Easygoing Ale

As a "Dayblazer" "sessions" beer, more taste and alcohol than I expected (4.8 ABV). Lemon and spices and even a nice low key hops to it. I doubt if I'll do again, but it was nice - especially with the light hops. 9.1 — 6 years ago

I think this exists for about a year and a half or so. Very nice indeed.

Zundert Trappist Beer

9.1

Thought I’d had all the Trappist beers out there, but this was a new one - absolutely beautiful w/gorgeous rich mahogany color & dark blonde highlights, complex aromatics w/distinct layered spice, roasted nuts, caramel, malty goodness - smooth across palate enveloping sweetness. Not the most elegant but bursting w/flavors & handles 8% rather well — 3 years ago

Unique red sake that has a cheese noted nose, and pairs very well with the cheese pecan pie biscuit served at the new restaurant AVERY in San Francisco’s Japantown area. Great pairing by Sommelier Daniel Bromberg — 6 years ago
