Alfred Hrdlicka label - borderline almost X-rated. Wine excellent. I really do like his whites. At Vino Carta in San Diego. White pepper, lemon and Gooseberries - Great stuff / One of the benchmark wines folks should try. Was introduced at Bells in Los Alamos to this winery. Needs about. 1 hour to open up. — 3 months ago
the perfect ides of what a fresh, tropical ans satiny natural wine should taste like. its easy drinking, playful and fun, yet you can also sense a deep complexity that went into the vinification process. Plus, the story and wine naming methods of Gut Oggau connects the drinker to the wine in such an interesting way.. love! — 4 months ago
First taste? That typical purple color but nose is well resolved with primary fruit having evolved into an intriguing dark berries earthy profile with a tinge of mintiness. Lovely and lively palate. Nice. — a month ago
austrian pinot noir?
it smells sweet. it tastes tannic, sour, slightly funky. it has notes of black cherry, raspberry, vanilla and oak. this is an easy chillable red to drink.
i paired with pad thai. the juicy tannic flavors cut through the rich nuttiness of the pad thai. — 4 months ago
well balanced, the welschriesling gives it an amazing green apple crisp & the gruner humbles it with white pepper notes to make the overall taste to be less comparable to a cidre — 2 months ago
Very enjoyable, great in late spring/summer — 2 months ago
Tasted orange/orange rind, a bit of red pepper, but also smooth on the finish! Had at Noma. — 4 months ago
