Not typically a huge fan of the sweeter stuff, normally a brut drinker, but this is good when paired with salty desserts. Pale yellow, with some floral aromatics dancing out. Great bubbles. Delicious dessert wine, I love this chateau and the 2006 vintage is lovely and demonstrates the elegance of Sauternes, deep gold color, enchanting nose of: key lime ,marmalade mandarin , orange peal, minerals, dried apricot, honey, canned peach, honeydew melon, citrus blossom, and honeysuckle, full body, creamy texture and lovely sweetness balanced by pleasant acidity and delightful sweet nectar finish. My score 91, drink in small format to 2023 , normal format to 2030 — 7 years ago
