The Grand Cru of Cava? Corpinnat (Heart of Penedes) is a special designation by a group of estates (currently 11) who broke tie with the Cava D.O. This one was disgorged in 12/2023.
Aromatic nose of green apple, peach, chalk, light brioche, and hint of white floral. Vibrant, round, and precise. Very impressive, particularly when considering this is a brut nature.

A cabernet from down-under. Why not?
The nose shows intense notes of cherry, black currant, graphite, some oak and some mentholy note too. The palate shows a great acid drive, a wonderful cassis note shining through and through, some width, some weight on the sides, a lively, grippy mouthfeel that evolves into a very strong tannic wall in the rear. The mid palate is massive and powerful and leaves a fine grain all over a finish that lasts for a very long time with that shiny black currant note, a reminiscence of that menthol thing and a gentle bitter note in the very end too. It's very young and should benefit from a couple of additional years in bottle. Good stuff! — 8 months ago
Pop n pour:
Time has taken care of the overt and opulent blend of bacon fat and blueberrypie.
Today, 5 years later, this has significantly more elegance (!) and better balance. Gorgeous notes of lavender, dark plums and blackberries, coffeebeans, a spicy pepper/cinnamon/nutmeg mixture and a whiff of cocoapowder.
Great wine. Delicious. — 2 years ago
Gorgeous. One of Annabelle's picks — 2 months ago
Made from Macabeu, Xarel·lo and Parellada grapes, bright pale gold color with a frothy creamy mousse, small rapid bubble flow with a steady stream. Aromas and flavors of apple and citrus with toasty notes, integrated, nice mouthfeel, elegant long finish. Great value as an exceptional alternative to French Champagne. — 2 months ago

So fragrant when first popped/poured, but after only a minute or two so much of its promise was gone :( (disgorged 5/21) — 3 years ago
